High-Protein Bolacha Maria Ice Cream 🍌🍦🇵🇹

This came out way better than I expected. Creamy, sweet, and hits that Portuguese comfort vibe with crushed Bolacha Maria cookies—but make it high-protein.

I blended cottage cheese with a bit of maple syrup, cinnamon, and milk, then stirred in those cookies. Froze it for a couple hours, gave it a few stirs along the way, and that’s it. Super simple.

Definitely feels like a little treat, but it’s packed with protein and takes like 5 minutes to make.

Ingredients:

• 1 ½ cups cottage cheese
• 2 tbsp maple syrup or honey
• ½ tsp vanilla
• ¼ tsp cinnamon
• ½ cup milk (or coconut milk)
• 6–8 Bolacha Maria cookies, crushed

Instructions:
1️⃣ Blend everything except the cookies until smooth.
2️⃣ Stir in the crushed Bolacha Maria.
3️⃣ Freeze for 2–3 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
4️⃣ Scoop and top with extra cookies or a drizzle of honey.
